JENIN, December 3, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation army continues its offensive against the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, for the third consecutive day.

Local sources said that Israeli warplanes are constantly flying over the town and firing heavy live ammunition in open areas and in the mountains.

The occupation army has also continued to impose a curfew on the town since Tuesday evening. Meanwhile, soldiers deployed throughout the town’s streets are conducting raids on residents’ homes, forcing them to leave, and converting some of these homes into military outposts.

Forces also closed the town’s entrances and some of its side streets and forced shop owners to close their workplaces.

The occupation forces detained several residents and took them to interrogation centers they established in the town, where they were interrogated and some were assaulted.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said that Israeli troops  have been conducting a widespread campaign of detentions in the town since Tuesday evening, but the number of detainees remains unknown due to the ongoing aggression.
