The Israeli occupation military committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 31 martyrs and 57 injuries arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours, the Health Ministry in Gaza announced on Tuesday.
This brings the total number of Palestinians killed since the start of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, to 45,885, in addition to 109,196 injuries, the ministry confirmed in its daily report on the 459th day of the aggression.
It noted that a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
Moreover, the ministry issued an urgent warning about an imminent humanitarian disaster, as hospitals, oxygen production facilities, medicine storage units, and neonatal incubators are on the brink of a complete shutdown due to a critical fuel shortage.
It highlighted that hospitals have entirely depleted their fuel reserves, attributing the crisis to “Israel’s” strict restrictions on fuel entry since the onset of the war on Gaza.
Compounding the crisis, aid convoys, including those carrying fuel, are being forced to navigate perilous routes plagued by looters and bandits operating under Israeli protection, the statement noted.
The ministry disclosed that the latest fuel shipment intended for hospitals was stolen yesterday while being transported under the supervision of international organizations.
“We reiterate our urgent appeal to all relevant, international, and humanitarian organizations to intervene immediately,” the ministry stressed.
It underlined that “fuel must be secured and delivered to operate generators in Gaza’s hospitals and healthcare centers.”
