The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine reached 81.12 during November 2024 with a decrease of 3.93% compared to October 2024, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

IPI for November 2024 decreased due to the decrease in the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 12.47%, which had a share of 2.89% of the total industry, the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 11.77%, which had a share of 7.38% of the total industry, the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 2.79%, which had a share of 87.89% of the total industry, and the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 2.74%, which had a share of 1.84% of the total industry, said PCBS.

Due to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, all working institutions in industrial production weren’t engaged in any production activity in the Gaza Strip for November 2024, noted PCBS.
