A Palestinian young man was injured on Saturday after being attacked by Israeli colonists in the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron.

Medical and local sources told WAFA that colonists from the illegal settlement of Bat Ayin, built on Palestinian land northwest of Hebron, attacked Palestinian residents while they were on their land. The colonists, protected by Israeli soldiers, threw stones at the residents, injuring a young man in the head.

The injured man was taken to the hospital for treatment. The attack is part of ongoing settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, which has escalated in recent months.
