The head of the Gaza Government Media Office, Salama Marouf, condemned Tuesday the Israeli occupation’s ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement, citing its refusal to withdraw from the Salah al-Din axis in southern Gaza and its continued incursions and demolitions in Rafah.<\/p>\n

Marouf warned that these actions reflect the Israeli occupation’s aggressive intentions and its commitment to further crimes against the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n

In a press statement, Marouf stated that in the past ten days, Israeli forces have intensified their violations, carrying out increased attacks\u00a0despite the ceasefire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He pointed to the latest incident as evidence of the Israeli occupation’s disregard for the agreement, reporting that five Palestinians, including two brothers, were killed near Kuwait Roundabout in an Israeli drone strike.<\/p>\n

This crime brings the total number of\u00a0Palestinians killed<\/a>\u00a0since the ceasefire went into effect on January 19 to 137, with around 52 of them killed in Rafah alone.<\/p>\n

Marouf dismissed the Israeli occupation’s claims justifying these attacks, stating that the victims, including women and children, posed no threat to Israeli forces. Many were killed while inspecting their homes near Israeli military positions.<\/p>\n

He called on mediators to intervene and pressure the Israeli regime to uphold its commitments under the agreement and put an end to its ongoing crimes. Additionally, he urged the international community to take responsibility for stopping the Israeli violations, particularly the collective punishment policies, which have resulted in a stifling siege on 2.4 million people, as well as the systematic targeting of civilians.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0Al Mayadeen<\/strong>‘s correspondent, a\u00a0drone strike targeting a gathering of civilians<\/a>\u00a0east of the Bureij Camp killed three Palestinians on March 10, while the Palestine Today agency reported that one martyr was transported to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, while two others remained at the site of the attack<\/p>\n

Earlier on March 10, the Gaza Ministry of Health reported in its daily statistical update that nine martyrs had been recorded, including five whose bodies were recovered and four newly confirmed, while 16 injuries were brought to hospitals in the past 24 hours<\/p>\n

On the same day, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF)\u00a0shot a Palestinian woman<\/a>\u00a0in the Tal al-Sultan neighborhood in westernmost Rafah in the Gaza Strip, according to\u00a0Al Mayadeen<\/strong>‘s correspondent.<\/p>\n

Blockade on Gaza worsens humanitarian crisis<\/h2>\n

On March 2, “Israel” announced a blockade on the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and threatened to add more pressure on Hamas, as the Palestinian Resistance faction refuses the US proposal to extend the first phase of the ceasefire agreement<\/p>\n

During a press briefing on March 10,\u00a0UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini<\/a>\u00a0stated, “We have already seen first signs of increased prices on the market,” adding that as more time passes, the more the impact of the ban increases in Gaza, while also warning that “there is a risk of going back to the situation we experienced months ago, about deepening hunger in Gaza Strip… The block needs to be lifted.”<\/p>\n

Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen<\/a>\u00a0announced on March 9 that he had signed an order to cut electricity supply to Gaza, a week after the occupation blocked all humanitarian aid from the Strip, while emphasizing in a video address that “Israel” will use all available tools to bring back the captives and ensure that Hamas is no longer in Gaza the day after the war.<\/p>\n

UN Special Rapporteur on Palestine Francesca Albanese stated that the\u00a0lack of sanctions and an arms embargo against “Israel”<\/a>\u00a0amid the electricity cutoff in Gaza amounts to complicity in genocide.<\/p>\n
