Muhammad Al-Amoor, on the “Media Front” program, prepared and presented by Talaat Alawi, which is broadcast on Al-Raqeeb Radio, he said that we, as private sector institutions, and the Federation of Palestinian Businessmen’s Associations are in constant contact with businessmen in Gaza to learn about the developments. Things come first, and basically checking on their health and existence. He added that the Businessmen Union Association tried with our brothers in the Gaza Strip to find a space to help and think together in order to help, but this assistance is powerless and reaches a small and specific portion in light of the tight closure on the Strip, and we hope that logistical conditions will allow soon. That we provide assistance, especially to the most harmful and essential sectors, which are the health sector and civil defense.

Al-Amour stressed that the situation is very difficult for the Palestinian people, and internationally it is now required to liquidate the issue. The attack is major, not only from the occupation. There are many countries attacking the issue now. He added that the West Bank is also suffering from arrests, workers, and others. He stressed that the occupation’s attacks also affected the West Bank, and he doubted. Also in the government’s ability to pay 70% or 80% of employees’ salaries.

He stressed the necessity of developing an emergency plan and not a crisis cell because the current situation is greater than just a crisis. He added that this plan must take into account the real inputs and economic consequences of this war, in Gaza and the West Bank as well, stressing that the government promised the existence of an emergency plan and hoped that it would be implemented, saying. “If unemployment today is 40% within two months, I expect it to reach 80% if the government does not act quickly and intuitively,” pointing out that the occupation government from the first day declared war and a war emergency plan, which means that all economic losses will be borne by the government, including workers’ salaries, and he added. The Minister of Labor’s statements regarding preventing the layoff of workers are correct, but there must be conditions for this worker to remain, not just statements.

He concluded his speech by saying that the government may have reached a stage where it does not have the ability to do anything. He added that the government may have a plan, but he doubts that it is a comprehensive plan, calling on decision-makers to act urgently before the situation worsens.

Exclusive to Al-Raqeeb Media Network – Rana Sabouba In an interview with the President of the Federation of Businessmen’s Associations, Eng.
